KARACHI: Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari visited Edhi Home on Wednesday to pay homage to the renowned philanthropist Abdul Sattar Edhi.
Bilawal reached Edhi Home in Karachi’s Clifton area and condoled Faisal (Edhi’s son) over the death of his father and prayed for the eternal peace of the departed soul. He said that the gulf created by the death of the legendary social worker could never be fulfilled.
Faisal said that the Bhutto family had visited Edhi Centre in the past and Bilawal was in the right footsteps by repeating his mother’s tradition.
PPP leader Nafisa Shah, accompanying Bilawal on the visit, said that the Bhutto family had a close relationship with Late Abdul Sattar Edhi.
